All-Stars

Your 2010 Dodger All-Stars have been named.

Andre Ethier was voted in by the fans as a starter, while Jonathan Broxton was selected by his peers to partake in this year's Summer Classic down in Anaheim.

Both players are having solid seasons. Ethier, who was a Triple Crown candidate before he went on the disabled list about seven weeks ago when he was hitting .396 with 11 home runs, has struggled some since his return roughly five weeks ago. His averaged fell below .320 earlier this week but he's turned it back in recent days and is now hitting a robust .321, good for second in the National League.

Meanwhile, Broxton, despite his rough outing last week against the Yankees, is having another stellar season as the team's closer. He owns a solid 2.08 ERA with 16 saves, and his strikeout rates are out of this world! Broxton currently has 50 strikeouts to go with just seven walks in just 34.2 innings pitched.

Surprisingly, Rafael Furcal was left off the roster with his NL-leading .338 average among shortstops, and .884 OPS, which is third among NL shortstops behind only Hanley Ramirez, who was voted in as a starter, and Troy Tulowitzki, who was selected by his peers but won't play because of an injury. Furcal should have earned a nod but was instead passed up for Jose Reyes (.277/.741) and Omar Infante (.311/.721).
